Commitment Level:

• Regular; At least six months regular commitment on at least one weekday evening or weekday afternoon; preferably till end of the year. (6 months)
• Primary & Secondary School tuition teachers
• Once a week commitment
• Mondays - Wednesdays (3pm - 4pm) or (7pm - 8.30pm)
• To teach concepts and strategies in academic subjects 
• To encourage and motivate children in academic pursiot
• Some experience in teaching and working with children preferred

Vol Requirements:

• Volunteers must be at least 17 years old
• Have keen interest in working with and guiding children and youth
• Ability to motivate mildly inattentive children an advantage,
• Relevant teaching/tutoring experience an advantage, and
• Have reasonable proficiency in subjects they are providing guidance in.

Opportunity Description:
We are seeking volunteers to help coach children and/or youth in their schoolwork by providing subject-specific consultations. This is geared towards developing the child to studying independently and to eventually improve their school grades.
